Pothole causes rollover

A WOMAN has escaped severe injuries after her car crashed on the Cunningham Highway near Bestbrook Resort at 8.40 this morning.

A Queensland Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said the driver had minor injuries to her leg.

Police are on the scene at the moment.

A large pothole on the highway is suspected to have played a part in the accident.

Police will have to call in traffic control to remove the car from the side of the road later this morning.

A reminder to motorists to be cautious when driving in the wet, always drive to conditions and be wary of potholes and fallen debris.
