Potting around the J&J markets this Sunday
FINISHING off Jumpers and Jazz with a sea of colour, creativity and delectable tastes, members of the Warwick Potters Association prepare for the last day of Jumpers and Jazz with the annual Potters Market.
Market co-ordinator Sue Creed said this year's Jumpers and Jazz has already proved to be the busiest yet for the creative group of local potters.
"There will be over 260 stallholders at Leslie Park on Sunday - our biggest number so far,” Mrs Creed said.
"We have around 30 marketeers, who have been with us since the beginning and a lot of new vendors joining us too.”
The markets feature an exciting range of arts, craft, collectibles and fashion. Mrs Creed said they are a must-see if you are shopping for gifts.
"It will be a good day to get your Christmas shopping done early or if you have to find a gift for a special person,” she said.
"No two things are the same in the markets, there's a variation of styles and everything is unique.”
In true Jumpers and Jazz style, vendors have travelled across Queensland to showcase their handcrafted gems at the market.
"We have people coming from all over, about a 500km radius I would say,” Mrs Creed said.
"They're coming from as far up as Bundaberg, as far down as Coffs Harbour, then we have our Southern Downs vendors and people from the coast.”
Mrs Creed said to keep an eye out for the garden sculpture displays, designing beautiful flowers and animals out of metal.
A delicious variety of foods will be available, with the popular wood oven pizza stalls returning, as well as delightful cupcakes, barbecues and a new Indian cuisine stall.
Thousands of visitors and locals will be at Leslie Park from 9am to 3pm on Sunday soaking in the final moments of the festival.
