Power restored to Warwick

SPECIALIST substation crews are continuing their investigations at the East Warwick substation after power to the 4600 customers it supplies was interrupted this morning.

The power supply was interrupted about 7.10am and crews did not immediately identify any faults.

As a result, power was restored to most customers before 7.45am and was fully restored about half an hour later.

Affected areas included the eastern suburban area of Warwick and country areas including Elbow Valley, Yangan, Sladevale and Freestone.
