Keep kids active during holidays

LOOKING for a way to keep the kids active these school holidays? The Warwick Gymnastics Club's holiday program will do the trick.

The program runs from 9am-3pm on June 27-29 and July 4-6.

Gymnastics coach Petra Kuziw said this year would have an Olympic Games feel.

"It will mostly be gymnastics, with a little bit of arts and craft to break up the day," she said. "This year we are going to base the program around the Olympics."

Kids from as young as five are invited to join in the fun.

Ms Kuziw said children did not need to have any skills or experience.

"It is a good way for kids to get a taste of it, especially those who have never done it before," she said.

Ashleigh McLean participated in the program last holidays.

"We did stuff on the trampoline and learnt how to jump on the bar," she said.

The program costs $25 a day, $65 for the three-day block or $120 for six days.

To make a booking call Petra on 0411 111 406 or 4661 9826.
