Warwick Show is for everyone

THE Warwick Show kicks off at 7am tomorrow with the prime cattle competition, prime sheep and lamb competition, ring events, sheep dog trials and wool competition.

The opening day’s events will be followed by the night entertainment from 5pm with, for the first time, team penning, the aeroball drop at 6.30pm, mutton busters, The Crackup Sisters comedy act, fireworks display and demolition derby.

Saturday’s program starts at 7am with cage birds, pigeons, poultry, ring events, sheering, sheep dog trials, showjumping, stud beef and stud sheep.

The Saturday night program runs from 6pm with the action- packed rodeo including the open bull ride, junior bull ride, open and junior barrel race, junior steer ride and poddy calf ride.

On Sunday, the last day of events, there will be campdraft, dressage and sheep dog trials starting at 6.30am.

The pavilion will be open from 10am to 8pm with trade displays from 8.30am to 8.30pm.

There will be entertainment from the Geraghty Bar from 9pm tomorrow and Saturday with Pittsworth band Holla City performing tomorrow night and local bands Peter Salata and Veronica Banditt on Saturday.

Street parking will be available.
