Properties spared as shed catches fire on Southern Downs
THREE fire crews worked to extinguish a fire in a single-storey shed at Stanthorpe last night.
A spokesman from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said the fire was contained to the shed and didn't spread to surrounding properties.
Two crews from Stanthorpe and one from Warwick were called to the scene at 4.38pm.
Cars were believed to have been in the shed when it caught alight.
The spokesman said crews extinguished the blaze and left the scene by 7.20pm.
It was unknown how the fire started.
