Qld Health payroll director 'moved on'

QUEENSLAND Health has refused to confirm reports the department's payroll services director has been moved on from the role due to the ongoing payroll bungle.

Janette Jones was reportedly moved out of her role following complaints about her handling of the debacle.

Queensland Health was unable to confirm the reports this morning.

"As of last night we had no confirmation Ms Jones had been moved on from her role as payroll services director," a department spokesman said.

Meanwhile nurses at Brisbane's Prince Charles Hospital are preparing to protest today in order to convey their anger to the director-general of Queensland Health Michael Reid, who is due to attend the midday rally.
