Qld to reframe indigenous relations, Trad

The Queensland government has used the end of NAIDOC Week to launch a "Tracks to Treaty" reform agenda for the state's indigenous people.

Among the government's aims is ensuring an indigenous voice in government and creating a path to a treaty.

"It is time to start this conversation," Deputy Premier and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships Minister, Jackie Trad, said.
