Rain to ease but not cold

RAIN, rain and more rain is the forecast Warwick, but it should clear up a bit by the weekend.

A Bureau of Meteorology spokesman said 11mm fell in Warwick yesterday with more expected today.

"The cold, cloudy conditions will continue for the next day or two with rain periods throughout," he said.

Rain was tipped to peak yesterday and ease today.

Temperatures yesterday reached a low of eight degrees and top of 12, which is six below the June average.

Today will also have a low of eight, but will climb to between 13-14 degrees.

Tomorrow will start at nine and reach a warmer 16 degrees.

The easterly winds will continue till tomorrow, and ease off for Friday.

"It will feel colder than the 12-13 degrees over the next few days with a strong wind chill factor," the spokesman said.

Friday will be mostly fine with a small chance of rain.

South-westerly winds will pick up on Sunday signalling the start of a cool, dry week.
