Rally entrants all set to hit bitumen and eat dust

MORE than 50 teams and the Australian Army are set to enter this year's Great Endeavour Rally, and Warwick will be its starting point this Saturday.

The 27th annual charity rally, set to raise dust and dollars from July 12-19, will take entrants on a 3500km, u-shaped circuit through outback Queensland, from Warwick then west to corner country, and then north and east to the finish line at Bundaberg.

The teams will line up in either of two Great Endeavour Rally courses - the main rally, which takes in some challenging bush roads and scrubby tracks; or the cruise course, which is suitable for any car that doesn't mind a few gravel roads.
