RUGBY UNION: While some of the commentators questioned whether the Blues had a plan in Origin 3, Warwick Water Rats coach Vlad Savovski definitely has a plan for the Risdon Oval clash with Condamine this Saturday.

UQ Gatton will play Chinchilla in C-grade at 12.15pm, the fifth-placed Warwick will play Condamine at 1.30pm in B-grade and then Condamine will play UQ Gatton in A-grade at 3pm.

Warwick will be without Scots PGC students, half Charlie Brennand and inside centre Tom Winter, as both have a school game against Downlands.

With half Joe Levick out with a neck injury, Warwick will be understrength in the backs and Savovski said his game plan would predominately be to play 10-man rugby.

Savovski is confident in his new-look back row - Brad Johnson (8), Jared Fearby (7) and Harry Marshall (6) - which he rates the best in the competition.

"The key will be to keep it tight,” he said.

Warwick is seven points clear in fifth place with three games to go but more wins are needed to secure a top-five spot.

The women have the weekend off and have one more away carnival and will then be home for the women's carnival day on August 5, the same day Warwick plays St George in men's rugby.
