Ready to rope and tie a top rodeo event

WITH just two weeks to go until the second annual Warwick Cowboys Rodeo, major sponsor Ray Bunch is gearing up for a great night of rodeo entertainment.

Mr Bunch has owned his business, Ray Bunch Machinery, on Lyons St for the past six years, but has lived in Warwick all his life.

"We gave a small sponsorship last year," Mr Bunch said of the Cowboys Rodeo.

"We're a local business and we like to support local fundraisers."

The Ray Bunch Machinery Cowboys Rodeo is set to take over Father Ranger Oval again on May 1, a community event that Mr Bunch hopes will continue for years to come.

"I like rugby league and rodeo," he said.

"After last year with such a big success there's no reason it wouldn't continue."

The event will boast seven main rodeo events starting from 7pm, plus live music, kids' entertainment and food available on the night.

Gates open at 5pm for a 7pm start. For details on nominations and events contact warwickcowboys@
