Rebels members allegedly involved in public altercation

POLICE are appealing for public assistance following an incident on the Bruce Highway at Caboolture yesterday afternoon.

Around 4.45pm two motorcyclists wearing 'Rebels' Criminal Motorcycle Gang clothing travelling north were involved in an incident with another vehicle.

One of the motorcyclists punched the side mirror off the vehicle before fleeing.

Detective Acting Inspector David Somerville said the act was a "brazen display of behaviour towards members of the public."

"We are asking anyone who may have seen the incident to contact Crime Stoppers," he said.
