Redbacks confident for clash with Highfields

AUSSIE RULES: Warwick Redbacks captain Tyhe Clarkson reckons his team can beat Highfields in an away Aussie Rules game today.

Clarkson said the Redbacks had a much stronger team than in the previous game at Highfields when they went down by 30 points.

"Highfields are the taller team but the key for us will be Alex Cutmore controlling the play from the ruck," Clarkson said.

Cutmore missed the first round game between the two teams.

"Our team is becoming more and more confident.

" We were matching it for three-quarters of games with the top two, University and Coolaroo, in games in the past month and had a good win against Lockyer Valley last weekend."

Some Warwick U16s will back up in seniors after their game at Gold Park today.
