Redbacks go down by 42 points

YET another disappointing performance by the Redbacks at Harristown Park has left the coaching staff scratching their heads as to why.

The 19.4 (118) defeat of the Redbacks 12.4 (76) by the Bombers was not only a blowout on the scoreboard.

With only one quarter of football to go, the Reddies were only 16 points down after fighting back from a 34-point deficit halfway through the third quarter.

The final stanza was set to be a great battle for the spoils and the Redbacks had everything to prove.

Not to be, only one team came out wanting the victory. Keith Webb dominated the Bombers forward line kicking 11 goals.

Clinton McErvale helped the Redbacks to a respectable score by booting seven goals, Kurt Millard put in another brilliant effort using the entire paddock to weave some awesome passages of play linking up with Brendan Iles and Matt Sinkins, both of whom played well.
