Reddies hope to repay support
THE manner in which the Warwick business sector is getting behind the Redbacks is truly amazing.
There are shops in the CBD displaying red and blue balloons, streamers and signs of good luck wishes.
Businesses on the outskirts of town such as Warwick Screenprinting and Embroidery, Abshot Physiotherapy and Reece Plumbing Supplies are decked out.
For a sport that has been in existence for only 15 years it really is a great feel.
The club will do everything in its ability to pay back this support with a victory and bring home the premiership cup.
The players are training well and bonding together in every way possible.
They started the week off with a long distance training run on Sunday.
Normal Tuesday and Thursday night training has attracted good numbers and a Friday night full team meeting and pasta dinner at Frankies on the Green.
A supporters bus to the game will depart Slade Park at 12.15pm at the very reasonable price of just $10 per head return trip. The bus is a 61-seater and the club hopes to book it out.
At 11.30am, the players and support staff will depart from Slade Park.
Every player who has pulled on the big spider for the 2011 season will be entitled to travel on that bus.
The Reddies as a club truly appreciates the backing of everyone.
