Region celebrates Australia

Warwick

Victoria Park will resound with "Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi" from 4pm, with a jumping castle and face painting to keep the kids entertained.

Community groups will have the barbecue and hot chips handy to feed the family before a big fireworks display.

Cricketers from as far away as Sydney, Adelaide, New Zealand, Quilpie in Western Queensland and all across south-east Queensland help make the Australia Day long weekend in Warwick a cricketing bonanza.

Allora

Australia Day action is all that it's quacked up to be as the ducks run wild for the annual Dalrymple Duck Race at 3pm.

Check out displays of all things Holden and Harley Davidson motorcycles, earthmoving equipment, international tractors and trucks, all while listening to some good country and western music at the Allora Heritage Weekend.

Killarney

Have a patriotic-style breakfast at Pat Bush Bicentennial Park, digging into barbecued favourites, billy tea and damper.

The event, hosted by the Killarney Lions Club, will include awards presentations and an Aussie talent quest.
