Regional athletics will be in Warwick
ATHLETICS: Hamilton Oval will be the venue for the Darling Downs school athletics championships for years 13-19 this season.
For the second successive year, the regionals will be at the Warwick State High School Oval on August 31 to September 1 after being in Toowoomba for more than two decades.
There will be two major meets for Southern Downs 13-19-year athletes in the run up to the regionals.
The Border District Athletics carnival is in Stanthorpe on August 11 and the Warwick All Schools at Briggs Oval on August 17.
Athletes will be competing for spots in the Darling Downs teams for state championships when they compete at the August 31 to September 1 carnival at Hamilton Oval in Warwick.
