Our regions’ bounty on show at this year's Ekka
REGIONAL Harvest is the story of the farmers and their produce from the beautiful Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and Southern Downs regions.
Their journey, from country to city, has given the Ekka attendees an opportunity to discover the array of food, wine and gourmet products that are just down the road.
For the Southern Downs there is a myriad of produce included in Regional Harvest, from Killarney-grown potatoes to the famous Granite Belt wines.
The collaborative project will profile the wealth of the regions' food production and also shine a light on the agri-tourism offering of the regions. See Monday's paper for full coverage.
