RELAY: What roads are shut and when

ROADS in Warwick CBD will be shut from 4am until about noon today for the Queen's Baton Relay trial run.

The convoy will start moving from Warwick East State School about 9.10am.

Fitzroy St between Lyons and Canning Sts will be blocked in both directions.

Albion St will be shut for a few minutes while the convoy moves towards Palmerin St.

The convoy will move up Fitzroy St and turn right onto Palmerin St and then move two blocks to turn left onto Victoria St.

It will take another left down Guy St to Fitzroy St, before taking another left travelling back down to Palmerin St.

The convoy will turn right down Palmerin St, where roads will be closed in both directions.

It will then turn right onto Percy St and then right onto Guy St.

Making its way all the way down Guy St to Victoria St, the convoy will then turn right down Victoria St and then turn left onto Albion St to exit Warwick.

Besides Palmerin St between Fitzroy St and Percy St, as well as Albert St between Guy St and Palmerin St, only one lane on the roads will be closed so the convoy can drive through.

Police will be stationed at all intersections to guide traffic.

The car park behind Town Hall, at Rose City Shoppingworld and on Acacia Avenue will be open.
