Residents warned to prepare for storms

WILL it flood again?

This is the question on many Rose City residents' lips.

Meteorologist Michelle Berry said Warwick was set to see some light showers over the next few days.

"There will be light drizzle and cooler than normal temperatures," she said.

"There will be an increase in activity closer to Friday afternoon.

"Warwick may see some storms Friday night."

Ms Berry said there was a lot of uncertainty about the trough over south-east Queensland.

"We're really unsure what it is doing at the moment," she said.

"It could bring up to 25-50mm on Friday night.

"We will be constantly monitoring for flood activity."

Warwickites are encouraged to keep checking for up-to-date information.
