Revved-up Saturday

WARWICK Mower Centre will buzz with the sound of chainsaws on June 2 as they join stores across the nation in Stihl's Super Saturday.

Demonstrations on how to sharpen chainsaws and what sort of maintenance is needed to keep them in good condition will run every hour from 10am-1pm.

Warwick Mower Centre owner Cheryl Sondergeld said it was a chance for people to brush up on their skills and see what else was on offer.

"Come along and find out tips and have your queries answered," Mrs Sondergeld said.

A barbecue will sizzle to keep hungry tummies satisfied while brains soak up knowledge.

"You can go in the draw to win a chainsaw and there is a kids colouring-in competition and some great giveaways," Mrs Sondergeld said.

The family has been in business for 30 years and Mrs Sondergeld said she could see them staying for at least another 10.

"We still enjoy it and get a real buzz from helping people," she said.

So, if you're a bit of a power tool buff and want to get amongst the buzz, head down to the Palmerin St store (opposite Leslie Park) on June 2, absorb the information and check out what else is on offer.
