Riders saddle up for horse festival

THE ANNUAL Scots PGC College Equestrian Extravaganza is being held from Friday to Sunday this week at the Warwick Showgrounds.

This is a large competition which attracts approx 120 riders, 150 horses and 430 entries making for a quite a mammoth operation logistically.

Riders compete in the disciplines of showjumping, dressage, combined training, show horse and showman.

During the years the college has been fortunate to have been assisted by non-equestrian parents in various roles, including dressage pencilling, stewarding for various rings and assisting with collection of data.

This weekend involves schools from throughout south east Queensland and a showcase for Scots PGC students who work hard in their chosen sport.

If you would like to help, it would be greatly appreciated or if you need more details, contact Kim Peard on 4666 9839 or kim.peard@scotspgc. qld.edu.au.
