Riders test skill during Border Ranges trail competition

The Killarney State School P&C Association Border Ranges Trail Ride was held at the weekend with 1265 riders taking on the open course over the two days, along with 216 novice riders and 52 pee wee riders.

BRTR committee president Edwin Dunkley said the weekend went well.

"You would not think that we have had all that rain over the past month as there was plenty of dust out on the ride," he said.

Mr Dunkley said riders enjoyed a 32km loop on Saturday afternoon with the Sunday ride consisting of a 30km ride with the addition of either a 21km or 14km loop at the fuel stop.

Brendan Armfeild from Casino rated this year as the one of the best.
