Riding on the sheep's back

MUTTON busters intent on riding to glory at the 2010 Warwick Show can hone their skills next month at the St Mary’s Bull Ride and Bronc Bonanza.

Sheep will be trucked to the upper campus of St Mary’s School so young children can try to ride them for eight seconds.

Entrants must wear jeans and enclosed shoes and bring their own helmet.

Older children (up to Year 7) can enter the poddy ride while teenagers may enter the juvenile steer ride.

The St Mary’s Bull and Bronc Bonanza will be held on Saturday, March 13, in the grounds of the school’s upper campus, at the corner of Palmerin and Pratten streets.

Nominate for mutton busting and the poddy ride at St Mary’s School on 4661 1872.
