Road Policing Unit heads to Killarney to test drivers

RANDOM breath and drug testing at Killarney has resulted in two drivers being charged within 15 minutes on Saturday.

Senior Constable Nathan Thomson from Killarney police said the men were charged on Acacia St near the Killarney Showgrounds within a 15-minute period around 10am Saturday.

The testing was conducted by the Road Policing Unit from Warwick and Killarney police.

A Killarney man, 20, and a man from Legume were both given a notice to appear for driving with a relevant drug.
