IT'S on again, the Warwick Cowboys Ray Bunch Machinery Rodeo at Father Ranger Oval on May 1.

Scott Keogh will organise the rodeo side of the event which was held for the first time last year.

Co-organiser Don Browne said Ray Bunch Machinery had become the naming rights sponsor of the rodeo.

"Scott will arrange the stock for the open bull ride which will be held in memory of former Cowboys player, the late Adam Merrell," Browne said.

"Adam was a rodeo rider and played a lot of footy for the Cowboys."

There will be seven events, open bull and bullock rides, footballers mule ride, junior steer ride, pony bareback ride, junior poddy ride and pee-wee ride.

The rodeo will be held on a weekend when there is no TRL footy; the Toowoomba Clydesdales will be playing in the 47th Battalion Carnival in Central Division that weekend.

Browne said the money raised would go towards the fund-raising tally for Warwick Cowboys Ambassador Ayden Gillam.

More information from Browne 0448 941 008 or Keogh on 0400 734 990.
