Roof on fire after solar panels catch alight

EMERGENCY crews are responding to a housefire in Caboolture, where solar panels have caught alight.

Fire crews were called to the Peters Drive home at 12.38pm, after reports of a roof on fire.

QAS are currently on scene, and have confirmed that one person has been extracted from the home.

A QFES spokesperson said the homeowner has cut power supply to the panels.

Police are also in attendance.
