Rose City rugged up and ready for Jumpers and Jazz
JUMPERS and Jazz has finally arrived and the Rose City is ready to celebrate.
The festival's launch party and Tree Jumper Awards will start tonight at 6pm at the Warwick Town Hall on Palmerin st.
Over 150 people have already purchased tickets, but there's still more to sell at $25 a head.
The team of volunteers from the art gallery will decorate the hall to create a true cosy experience with couches, rugs, lamps and coffee tables.
Warwick Art Gallery director Karina Devine said she is excited to announce the winners from the Tree Jumper competition.
"People have really gone with the theme this year," she said.
"The more challenging the theme the more we get."
Contestants have the chance to win in four different categories including open artistic, excellence in knitting and crochet, a theme section and best community group entry.
"I just can't wait to see them all," Ms Devine said
"I hope people will come out and have a dance.".
Dezzie D and the Stingrays will perform from 6pm to 9pm.
