Rotaract club looks for new members

IF YOU are looking for ways to help others, expand your horizons, meet new people, develop your leadership skills while having fun than the Rotaract Club of Warwick is the club for you.

The group formed at the end of last year but member Mindi Devine said the club had only started to get on their feet in the last two months.

"We are looking for some more members before we can officially charter as a club," she said.

"Our club is for 18-30 year olds who are looking to make new friends and help both our local community and wider community."

The club meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 7am at Cherry Tree Cafe.

Ms Devine said the club was working on its first big event.

"Our current event we are working on is a cocktail party at French-style cafe Joie de Vivre in King St," she said.

"The event is in aid of beyond blue."

The fun will kick of at 6pm.

Tickets include your choice of two cocktails/boutique beers on arrival, light supper, music and donation to beyond blue.

Ticket sales close next Tuesday at 5pm.
