Rugby league clinic this Tuesday in Warwick
RUGBY LEAGUE: A Rugby League Holiday Clinic will be held this Tuesday at Assumption College to cater for boys and girls, aged six to 13.
The clinics will be organised by NRL game development officer Jim Stevens who is organising the Warwick clinic on Tuesday, one at Goondiwindi on Wednesday and one on April 14 at Tenterfield.
“Everyone is welcome whether they have played rugby league or not,” Jim said.
“The clinic will cater for players of all standards.
“Girls rugby league is one of the fastest growing sports in Queensland and we are forming Warwick girls teams.”
Stevens will be assisted by former Australian tertiary player Scott Morton and Clydesdales under-18 team member Zac Stevens.
Each clinic will involve NRL development staff running fun skills and games for kids of all levels.
This Tuesday’s clinic at Assumption College goes from 9am-12pm and more participants welcome.
Cost is $45 and includes an NRL Pack ( NRL Backpack, Truckers Cap, Football, Kicking tee, and Water bottle).
