Rural Fire Brigade volunteers heading across the border
THE Massie Rural Fire Brigade is on the way to assist New South Wales fire fighters at Liston this morning.
At 5.30am, the brigade informed Fire Comm they were on the way to the Warwick Fire Station to meet up with other brigades to back up in New South Wales.
This is the fourth day Queensland brigades have helped their counterparts just across the border in New South Wales.
The forecast hot weather at the weekend is expected to increase the fire danger in the Border region.
