Russell Crowe's kids stopped from taking toys on flight

RUSSELL Crowe has had a blue with Virgin Australia.

The fight began when Crowe's children weren't allowed to bring their brand new swagboards on board when heading off on holidays.

The swagboards, also known as 'hover boards', are miniature segways and have become the must-have toy this Christmas.

The problem is that the swagboards run lithium-ion batteries and, therefore, can't be taken as carry-on luggage on Australian flights.

Virgin's team has stayed cool in the face of Crowe's social media attacks in which he has vowed to 'never again' fly with the airline.
