Saddle up, it's street parade time

ENTRIES for the Warwick Credit Union Street Rose and Rodeo Street Parade are rolling in but there's still room for more.

"Hooves 'n' Grooves" themed floats will wind their way along Palmerin St from noon on Saturday, October 27.

Warwick Tourism and Events CEO Tracy Vellacott said more than 40 participants generally made up this fantastic parade with a multitude of colours, characters, rhythms, floats and plenty of handsome horses on show.

"These floats depict many of the schools, organisations and hobby and service groups in our community and showcase the diversity and excellence of this region," Mrs Vellacott said.

"We are also very lucky to have long-term sponsors like the Warwick Credit Union throw their support behind the parade with some impressive trophies and cash on offer for the winners."

Mrs Vellacott urged the community to come along and cheer on the wonderful local talent on show.

There are good vantage points all along the Palmerin St route.

Warwick Credit Union Street Parade registration is just $10.

Forms are available now from the Warwick Visitor Infomation Centre.
