Saddling up for CBD move
SHE has only been there a week, but the doors of Showtime Saddlery have not stopped swinging since she moved in.
Gina Doulis has relocated her business from Fitzroy St to Palmerin St and said it was the best move she's made.
"Probably 90% of people I have seen come in, I have never seen before," Ms Doulis said.
"It's been so busy!"
She said the new shopfront meant more people were likely to walk in off the street and snag a bargain.
"A lot of places are closing down in Fitzroy St, so I had to have somewhere in the main street," Ms Doulis said.
While she is still heavily into the saddlery side of things, Ms Doulis said she was
becoming more and more keen on the fashion side of retail.
She said the closing down of Golders meant Warwick shoppers were without a place to buy some of their favourite brands.
"Now that I stock Wranglers and Ariats, people need to know I am here," she said.
"Golders left a big hole and so I want to fill it."
At Showtime Saddlery, she still does repairs and claims to have the best range of second-hand saddles on the Downs but the downsize in shop size meant it was a heck of a lot warmer in store.
"It's so much cosier in here," she said. "I just hope everyone can find me."
Ms Doulis wanted to thank her loyal customers who had supported her business over the years and hoped she could continue to service them into the future.
