Saints have plenty of family connections
THERE is a lot of family involvement in Warwick volleyball and no more so than in the Saints team in the mixed competition.
Kerri Fitch, who is the sports master for volleyball, plays for Saints with two of her children, Travis and Bianca, and her niece, Tiarna King.
For Kerri, the 2015 season has been "very social".
"We have four teams in both men's and ladies' and two teams in mixed: We definitely want more mixed teams," Kerri said.
King said she was at volleyball for the fun.
Three grand finals will be played on Monday, starting with ladies, then men and mixed at the Warwick High hall.
Nads and Deadwood are two long-established teams which have played many close men's games.
