Saints take hockey final after brilliant first half
SAINTS secured the women's grand final in Warwick hockey on the back of a brilliant first half on Saturday night.
The eventual winners led 3-0 at halftime before winning 3-2.
In the men's grand final, Corinthians led 4-0 at halftime before winning 4-1 against Wyverns.
A feature of the match was a scoop goal over the keeper by Robert Eastwell for Wyverns, a rare type of goal on water-based synthetic.
Player of the final winners both came from losing side, Jasmin Ollerton from Corinthians and Tom Mikkelsen from Wyverns.
