Saturday and Sunday weather looking clear and sunny

WARWICK residents will wave goodbye to the frosty weather and temporarily welcome sunnier skies this weekend.

Clouds around the Southern Downs will be minimal for the weekend and with only light winds allowing daytime maximums to climb back up to a comfortable 19 degrees today and 20 tomorrow.

Overnight temperatures will still be quite cool, at 5 and 4 degrees for the next couple of nights.

Monday will again see a warm maximum of 20 degrees, dipping down to 8 overnight, but as cloud returns to the region early next week, so too will the cooler temperatures.

Tuesday's temperatures will only fluctuate between 10 and 18 degrees but by Wednesday a minimum of 2 degrees and high of 14 is forecast.

Minimal rain is expected next week despite lingering cloud and gusty north easterly winds.
