School mates come together for Glennie Heights reunion
IF YOU have ever known what it was like to pull on a Glennie Heights school uniform there is only one place for you to be tomorrow.
The school is hosting a gathering for all past and present students, teachers and staff.
One person who has made a mammoth effort to attend is Lisa Cooper, nee Bryant, who battled through a long-haul flight from Iowa in the United States just to reconnect with her old schoolmates.
She said she was looking forward to revisiting wonderful childhood memories.
"Primary school was my favourite, not high school, and I think we had the coolest school, it was so much fun."
There will be a walk through the school at 2pm, followed by an afternoon tea.
Participants are asked to bring a plate.
Those who want more time to reminisce can attend dinner at Garden's Galore at 5.30pm.
Cost is $20 a person.
