Allora students to take a trip down memory lane at reunion
A TRIP down memory lane to the days in the old schoolyard is planned for Saturday, October 3, 2015 for students who attended the Allora State School within the period 1966-1975.
Any students or staff who were part of the class at Allora State School between those years are welcome to attend.
Perhaps those reading this article may be aware of past students from the nominated era.
If so it would be gratefully appreciated if the information could be passed on to those people involved.
The reunion of the classes that commenced school all but 50 years ago will be held at the Allora P-10 State School commencing at 3pm featuring a "back to school" visitor's book, a photograph display, an open house, afternoon tea and a roll call.
An evening function at the Allora Sports Club will follow including social drinks and a barbecue.
On Sunday the reunion will continue at the Allora Sports Club with a barefoot bowls afternoon.
Costs for the event are $5 per person on Saturday afternoon at the Allora State School, $20 per person for the Saturday evening social at the Allora Sports Club and $5 each for those taking part in the barefoot bowls.
Those wishing to attend should RSVP with payment of event fees by September 19 for catering purposes.
Cheques can be made payable to School Reunion, PO Box 131, Allora, Qld, 4362, and bank transfer facilities are available.
