JUNIORS IN ACTION: Field goal decides game with finals near

RUGBY LEAGUE: Stanthorpe Blue landed a field goal to beat Eastern Suburbs 23-22 in Saturday's under-14 round in the Warwick and District Junior Rugby League competition.

The Collegians club and MIT Jets played a round in Ipswich before Queensland Cup action for the second successive year.

 

There are two fixture rounds to go in the Warwick and District Junior Rugby League competition this season.

Eastern Suburbs will host the 10 semi-finals in the competitive grades on August 31. Preliminary finals will be played at Texas and grand finals at Tenterfield.

Recently teams from Eastern Suburbs and Collegians played at the Gold Coast on separate days but on the same program as the Titans.
