THE Scots PGC College student Rose Stacey has won two state championships in one year at school level.

In the 105cm class, Rose Stacey, a boarder from Buderim won her second state championships in combined training, an event which is a combination of showjumping and dressage.

Earlier this year, she won the 110cm showjumping championships in Maryborough.

Stacey was one of four Scots PGC riders to record placings in the Queensland Inter-school Combined Training Championships in Toowoomba.

Ellika Whelan, a boarder from Ashgrove in Brisbane, won her class in combined training.

Holly Wickham, a day student at the college, won the 80cm combined training championships with Yangan-based Nikki Crowther third.

As a result, Scots PGC won the secondary combined training school championship after a close battle with Stuartholme College.
