Search continues for missing boy

POLICE are still searching for missing Ipswich boy James Micheal Young.

The 11-year-old's parents have not seen him since 3pm Monday, when he was standing in the front yard of his house on Arnold St, Wulkuraka.

Subsequent sightings of James have been reported at Brassall Shopping Centre on Tuesday afternoon about 5pm, and at the Birch Carroll and Coyle cinemas in the Ipswich CBD on Wednesday about 11.20am.

He was last seen wearing dark blue track pants and an oversize red and blue flannelette shirt.

Ipswich Child Protection and Investigation Unit Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Williams said police were seeking information from anyone who had seen James.

James is described as being fair-skinned, 150cm tall, with a slim build, bleached blond hair and blue eyes.
