Search set to resume for woman

THE search for Gail Lynch will resume this morning as police continue with their investigations into the whereabouts of the Warwick woman who has not been seen for three weeks.

A Warwick Criminal Investigation Branch spokesman said search crews would scour the area around the John Dee abattoir and surrounds, including the river.

As of the Daily News' print deadline yesterday, no new information had arisen about the case, but police are treating it as a suspected murder.

Family have turned to social media to help find answers as to the whereabouts of the missing 55-year-old Warwick woman.

Facebook page Help Find Missing Person Gail Lynch has been set up for people to see photos and information.

Police are on the hunt for Ms Lynch's ex-partner Ian Hannaford who has not been seen since he spoke with police on July 11 and may be able to supply some more information.

If anyone has seen Mr Hannaford or Ms Lynch, please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Warwick Criminal Investigation Branch on 07 4660 4430 immediately.
