Seasonal festive feast this Saturday
THE final Seasonal Feast Market for Warwick in 2016 is on tomorrow.
From 8am, the Warwick Art Gallery courtyard will be filled with Christmas cheer for this special Love Local Hamper Market.
Market co-ordinator Amy Walker said the idea was for people to bring along their own basket or buy one at the market to create a personalised Christmas hamper with all the offerings from local stalls.
"We're hoping to have a greater variety of stalls and the focus of that is on the shop local, love local philosophy,” she said. "We really want to encourage people to invest their dollars in small, local business when they're doing their Christmas shopping.”
Stallholders include are upcycled decorations and gifts from Once Upon a Pallet, aromatic produce from Budgee Garlic and Herbs, Amazing Soaps from Pittsworth, produce from the Food Network Co-op Stall and Picot's Farm and honey from DP's Bees.
Mrs Walker suggested purchasing local goodies and then heading to the art gallery wrapping station, where for a gold coin donation someone crafty will wrap, tie and decorate all hampers and gifts. There will be music from Warwick twins The Fern Brothers, coffee from Urban Mist and ZEST pastries.
