Second truck catches fire in three hours

FIRE crews were called to a truck fire south of Warwick last night just hours after a truck carrying hay was engulfed by flames on the Cunningham Highway.

Two urban appliances and one rural appliance were called to Texas Rd at Pikedale where a truck had caught fire at 8.57pm.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Fire and Emergency Service said the prime mover was burnt out by the time crews arrived on scene.

No one was injured in the blaze and crews left the scene about 10.50pm.
