THERE were running groups from everywhere as the competitors headed to Killarney for the 10km ascent from Killarney to Queen Mary Falls.

They started at Killarney at 6.45am.

Some rated the run to Queen Mary Falls even tougher than the half marathon to Yangan on Saturday.

Runner Geoff Williams said the 10km run from Killarney to Queen Mary Falls was worth it for the great breakfast put on by the Queen Mary Falls Café.

The ascent to Queen Mary Falls was race 4 of the 17th annual Warwick Pentath-run
