Shooting
THE Warwick Clay Target Club will hold its monthly shoot on Sunday at the range in Rosenthal Rd.
There will be three events, 25 target pointscore, 25 target double barrel pointscore and Deauville Doubles.
There is trench practice on Saturday from 9am on the Warwick range.
Rees carnival
THE Coolum Colts Junior Rugby League will host the Glyn Rees City Country Cultural Exchange for the fifth consecutive year this weekend.
Competitions will be played for under-13 and U14 boys and U14 girls.
There will be teams from the Sunshine Coast as well as the Outback, Central Highlands, Darling Downs and South East Queensland areas.
Basketball clinic
WIRAC will host a basketball clinic with Toowoomba Mountaineers coach Danny Morseu on July 11.
Morseu was the first indigenous player to make it to the NBL All Stars and played for Australia in two Olympic Games.
The free clinic will start from 2pm, with games from 4.45pm.
Senior basketball in Warwick is held from 6pm Wednesday at WIRAC.
Netball week
ASSUMPTION College will field a team in the Queensland Independent Secondary Schools Netball Carnival, which will be held in Townsville next week.
The Warwick college won at Mt Isa in 2015 and played well in the annual netball carnival in Brisbane last year.
A combined Assumption/St Joseph's Stanthorpe team will play in the Confraternity Shield rugby league next week in Charters Towers.
