Semi-final action heats up in Warwick netball
NETBALL CHAT with Renae O'Dea
SEMI-FINALS brought the best out in everyone early this week.
They were great games.
Next week will be the tester. Last chance for some teams to get to the finals.
After an outstanding effort, Hazzards gain a free pass to the A-grade grand final. They will be hard to come up against in the final.
Umpiring intensity
THE finals and the umpires from the Toowoomba area makes it all that bit more intense.
Adapting to your umpires is a big skill in netball. All umpires are there to do their job. However, they all focus on different things.
Some players need to realise that they have to change their ways otherwise the umpires will continue to make the calls. It's great to see how it changes the intensity of the game.
Mary has a blinder
MARY Higgins had a blinder of a night. She was all over the court and showed her dominant stance in the defending circle.
She is a bubbly girl and that shows in her netball.
Mary is out there to play her best but also has fun at the same time. It's great to see Mary really sticking to the goal defence position as it really works well for her.
