Senden in contention for second PGA Tour title

QUEENSLANDER John Senden was in contention to win his second PGA Tour title ahead of the final round of the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow overnight.

The 2006 John Deere Classic winner was only two shots off the lead held by Americans Phil Mickelson and Nick Watney.

Senden's best finish on Tour this year is tied for 20th at the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship.
